A TEIGNMOUTH woman has been accused of causing unnecessary suffering to Thor the dog.

Claire Mitchell, aged 49, of First Avenue, is charged with causing unnecessary suffering to Thor by her failure to ensure the dog was provided with timely and appropriate veterinary care for its hair loss and/or skin condition.

South and West Devon Magistrates' Court adjourned the case to August 21.
