A 15-year-old boy pedestrian was hurt in a collision with a car in Teignmouth last night, Tuesday.

A police spokesperson said: ‘Police were called last night shortly before 10pm by the ambulance service following a report of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Station Road.

‘The pedestrian, a 15-year-old boy, sustained injuries not life-threatening or changing and was taken to hospital as a precaution.

‘The road was closed until officers left the scene, shortly before midnight.’

Police sealed the road off and redirected traffic through the town or up Shute Hill according to a bystander.
