A BOMB disposal team were called to Dartmoor yesterday to remove a suspected explosive device.

Devon and Cornwall Police received reports on Tuesday, Apri 30, of a possible explosive that had been located in Butterdon Wood, near Moretonhampstead.

A 100 metre cordon has set up while the device was removed by a Royal Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal team.

It is believed that the device was a mortar round.
