ASHBURTON’S livestock was well represented at Okehampton Show this year, with Rob and Susan Small taking home a myriad of rosettes and featuring in the Grand Parade.

Susan said: ‘We’ve put in a lot of hard work and a lot of feed! It’s a constant thing, you don’t get it overnight. To get them to show standard takes their whole life, not just a couple of weeks. It’s been a really good show and we’ve been pleased with the results all summer.

The Small’s Goodstone Flock took Breed Champion, as well as first places in the Shearling Ewe category, Ewe Lamb, Best Female, and the Hampshire Down Championship.

Rob added: ‘Our Hampshire Downs are beautiful. We’ll be in the parade with them later as well.’
