AN artist who has had his work displayed around the country will be hosting a display in Coffinswell at the beginning of December.

Nigel Groom, a retired analytical psychotherapist who lives in Abbotskerswell, will be showing a variety of paintings which are ‘appropriate for the season’.

The artist will also give a brief talk on his work with music and time for reflection, before an informal wine and light buffet reception.

Having called time on his 35-year career, Groom continues to offer one-to-one spiritual accompaniment as spiritual director of the Exeter Anglican Diocese.

His work has previously been displayed in Worcester and Wells Cathedrals, Buckfast Abbey and parish churches around England.

St Bartholomew’s Church will be hosting the event on Saturday, December 4, between 4pm and 6pm.

Admission will be by pre-purchased tickets, which are £5 each and available from the Three Wells Mission Parish Office (01803 873006).
