A LIFESAVING piece of medical kit is now up and ready for use in Kingsteignton.
Kingsteignton School have been extremely lucky to have been donated a Public Access Defibrillator (PAD) by local charity Jay’s Aim.
‘Newton Abbot College students fund raised enough money for 20 defibrillators and kindly agreed that we can use one at our school,’ said a spokesperson for the school.
‘After an appeal to local electricians the school was inundated with offers of help to connect the lock box and HEI group came out over the Christmas holidays and connected the lock box.
‘We are so grateful for everyone’s help and support.
‘We know that the PAD will be a reassurance to the local community.’
